| Santiagos Ocean Services,
an American-owned charter boat service, has been #1 for
fun in Rocky Point since 1995. For your boating pleasure,
they provide fast, safe comfortable boats that are all
US Coast Guard approved. The spacious boats in their fleet
are equipped with high-tech fishing equipment and safety
gear and their licensed captains are experienced. For
an action filled day of fishing, Santiagos has the best
to offer. On either their 32 ft. custom sport fishing
boat or their 44 ft. yacht, they have everything you’ll
need to catch an abundance of fish. On a standard trip,
which goes out 12 to 15 miles on the Sea of Cortez, catches
average fish 8 –10 lbs. For the more avid fisherman,
they offer trips 20 – 30 miles out for 80 lb. Groupers,
big Pinto Bass and bunches of Red Snappers. Santiagos
has fast boats, the best equipment, all the knowledge
and GPS headings to take you where the big fish are…guaranteed.
Biggest fish they reeled in was a 300 lb. Black Sea Bass!

be glad you did. Santiagos can also take you the famous
Bird Island. On this 4 ½ hour round trip eco-tour
you’ll see whales, dolphins, sting rays, exotic
birds and you can swim or snorkel with thousands of sea
lions as they playfully frolic around you. With over 20
species of rare birds, this is truly a bird watcher’s
dream; so don’t forget your camera and binoculars.
You never know what you’ll see on your 27-mile trek
to the island. For a little more excitement, Santiagos’
two commercial Parasail vessels offer the ride of a lifetime.
An English-speaking captain will glide you safely through
the air 600 ft. above Rocky Point over the Sea of Cortez.
Boats are designed with many safety features and all take-offs
and landings are done right from the boats. Get a bird’s
eye view as you fly with Santiagos, the best operators
with an 8-year safety record. To wind down from a busy
day, enjoy the sunset from one of Santiagos’ yachts
on a relaxing sunset/margarita cruise. You’ll see
a breathtaking sunset as you dance to great music as the

a resident of Rocky Point for 25 years, and June Pentecost,
a resident of Rocky Point for 8 years, you will find each
element becomes a welcome gratification. Yañez
and Pentecost paired up 7 years ago as they found a need
for wedding consultants in Rocky Point and found planning
such a special day very rewarding. Over the course of
their business, they have given many couples the confidence

| The Center for Technological
Sea Studies and Aqua Culture is an aquarium exhibit that
provides an up close look at the native species of the
inter-tidal zone and the northern gulf coast. Here, you
can watch sea turtles, octopus, sea horses, shrimp, various
fish species, and sea lions. CET-MAR is located at 43
Las Conchas Road, just before you enter the main guard
gate for Las Conchas. Schools, families, tours, individuals
and groups are welcome. Visiting hours are: Monday - Friday
from 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday from
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. |
